Campus Leaders is the region’s newest collegiate leadership program offered through the Columbia Chamber.
The 3-month program includes sessions designed to build leadership and networking skills with an increased awareness of career opportunities here in the Columbia area. Through a combination of lecture and workshop style class days, participants will study the qualities that make an effective leader, analyze individual leadership roles, and have a chance to practice their networking skills with local business leaders. They will also have a chance to engage with community organizations and learn more about what makes Columbia a great place to live and work.
Offering 2 cohorts of no more than 25 students for fall and spring semesters, students are selected from colleges and universities across the region to participate. Upon successful completion of the program, Campus Leaders participants will have learned critical professional and leadership development skills, grown their professional network, gained valuable mentorships, increased their exposure to career opportunities and become well versed about the vibrant community of Columbia.
