Each year, the Columbia Impact Awards strive to highlight the remarkable organizations and individuals dedicated to improving the Columbia region and pursuing excellence in the process. While we cannot host the event in-person this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Chamber has worked diligently to develop an unmatched virtual experience that we're excited to bring to our attendees. We are incredibly thankful for our presenting sponsor, Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A., for making this event possible.

Our production sponsors, Sound & Images and Zero Gravity, have worked closely with the Chamber to create a dynamic and engaging remote experience to spotlight our honorees in a professional, high-quality online event that goes above-and-beyond your typical Zoom call. Hear from influential leaders and trailblazers in the community and get insight into the organizations and businesses making our community a more vibrant place to work, live, and do business.

Tune in for an unparalleled look at our gorgeous, open-concept office space in our new Lady Street location in the heart of the bustling Main Street District. Attendees will be treated to the exclusive premiere of the Chamber's custom commissioned mural, sponsored by Aflac. Local SC artist, Lacey Hennessey, was tapped to design a one-of-a-kind mural that showcases beloved Columbia landmarks and embodies the spirit of the Midlands. Hennessey's business, Hennessey in the Home, has quickly become a creative and eclectic way for businesses across the state to showcase their SC roots and capture the spirit of their business.

Heard the buzz around one of the biggest economic development successes in Columbia's history and want to learn more? You won't want to miss our keynote speaker, John Sacksteder of Mark Anthony Brewing, and his exciting presentation on the explosively popular brewery and production company coming to the Midlands. Mark Anthony Brewing, the maker of White Claw Hard Seltzer, is investing $400 million in a massive production facility which will produce White Claw Hard Seltzer, Mike's Hard Lemonade, and Cayman Jack Cocktails. Chicago-based Mark Anthony Brewing is the fourth-largest brewery in the U.S. and the state-of-the-art facility will create 300 new jobs, representing one of the largest economic developments Columbia has seen in recent years. Attendees will get exclusive insight into how this strategic investment will be making waves in Columbia's business community.

Innovation, dedication to hard work, and an entrepreneurial spirit are the backbone of the Midlands' business community. The Chamber is excited to honor businesses and individuals that embody these values by highlighting their contributions to the region with our Cathy Novinger Trailblazer Award, Impact Award for Small Business, Impact Award for Diversity & Inclusion, and the Golden Nail Awards.
