COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Columbia Chamber’s flagship leadership program, Leadership Columbia, is requesting proposals for the LC Class of 2026 class project. Each year, the LC class chooses a project that can create a positive impact on the community. 

 

To submit a proposal, an organization must be a nonprofit located within the Chamber’s six-county area: Richland, Lexington, Fairfield, Kershaw, Calhoun, and Newberry Counties. Proposals must be submitted online HERE no later than Friday, August 29, 2025 at 5:00PM.

 

The project will be carried out by approximately 65 candidates in the Leadership Columbia Class of 2026 and will be completed by April 2026.

Leadership Columbia Advisory Board Hosting RFP Office Hours

Have questions about submitting a project proposal for the Leadership Columbia Class of 2026? The Leadership Columbia Advisory Board will host two virtual office hour sessions to assist interested nonprofits on Wednesday, July 30 at 10 a.m. and Wednesday, August 13 at 2 p.m. These sessions are designed to answer questions and help guide organizations through the RFP process. Each year, the Columbia Chamber’s flagship leadership program, Leadership Columbia, selects a class project that aims to make a lasting, positive impact on the Midlands community. To be eligible, organizations must be nonprofits located in one of the Chamber’s six-county region: Richland, Lexington, Fairfield, Kershaw, Calhoun, or Newberry Counties.
