The Columbia Chamber unveiled its 2019 Public Policy Agenda at the Public Policy Reception on January 24 at the Columbia Museum of Art. Each year, the Chamber, its Board of Directors, and the Public Policy Committee set forth to establish a public policy agenda that best reflects the needs of the business community and Chamber Partners.
The 2019 Public Policy Agenda is an extension and refinement of the work the Chamber began in 2018 and it serves as the core of the Chamber's mission – to be the voice of business and advocate for an environment conducive to growth and economic prosperity in the greater Columbia area.
This year's Public Policy Agenda focuses on three key issues which have the greatest impact on businesses in this region: the cost of doing business, education and workforce, and military.
