This internship provides an opportunity to learn valuable job skills while helping connect people in the community with employment, training, and resources.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Career Navigators with job search efforts, resume building, and interview preparation for job seekers.
• Help research and connect with local businesses to find job and training opportunities.
• Support career training programs in Healthcare, Technology, Skilled Trades, Clean Technology, and Transportation/Logistics.
• Assist in organizing community events, workshops, and career fairs at the Resource Opportunity Center.
• Help promote workforce programs and share information with job seekers.
• Work with the team to support programs for veterans, older workers, and young people looking for career opportunities.
• Assist with basic data entry and administrative tasks to support program operations.
Qualifications:
• Engaged student interested in business administration, workforce development, human or community service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a professional environment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet research).
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
